How to Use an Orb Weaver Egg

Grounded 2 includes a variety of enemies, and Orb Weavers are among the stronger enemies that you'll end up facing. There are a few different kinds of Orb Weavers that you'll encounter in the park. The first ones are the weaker Orb Weaver Junior. They're similar to the Larva and Red Worker Ants, where they aren't the most difficult enemies to face, even early in the game. However, they are hostile and will attack you on sight.

The full Orb Weavers are harder to kill, being both more durable and having stronger attacks. But if you want to get an Orb Weaver Egg, you need to be prepared to fight the junior versions or the full Orb Weaver, since it's going to be difficult to avoid these battles.

Where to Find Orb Weaver Eggs

Orb Weavers have a number of dens that you can find in the park, with a cluster of them being found around the southeast side of the Picnic Table. Specifically, you want to be by the lamp post. Otherwise, you can find them around the Headless BURG.L or northeast of the Ice Cream Cart. You'll know that there's a chance for Orb Weavers to be nearby when you start finding webs.

Then, you want to start looking for dens to explore, which means that you'll want to have a torch ready to use. The eggs tend to be on the walls, similar to the Web Sacs that you'll find throughout the park. When you get close to one, you have the option to collect it, but you will aggro nearby spiders the second you pick it up, so you'll need to either run or be prepared to fight the spiders.

How to Use an Orb Weaver Egg

Orb Weaver Eggs hatch into the Orb Weaver Buggy, but you have to complete the main mission "Networking" first. You also end up hatching a Red Soldier Ant Egg before this point, so you'll have the Hatchery that's required ready to use.

Put the egg into the Hatchery, and it'll hatch into the Orb Weaver Buggy after 24 hours pass in-game. You might also want to consider building a Spider's Nest while the egg is hatching so that your Orb Weaver Buggy has somewhere to rest when not being used in Grounded 2.
